I found the 45+5 run capacitor is shorted on common. The 1 pole contactor is pitted and heavily charred. The thermostat wires at the outdoor are missing the outer and inner jackets in some spots. The customer said he would fix the wires. The customer signed for the repairs. I replaced the 45+5 capacitor and contactor. Tested the system. The customer signed up for our 1 system club membership. I cleaned the condenser coil. The start capacitor is in good condition. The refrigerant pressures are 398/110 in correct range per manufacturer specifications. The compressor amps are 6.61 in correct range per manufacturer specifications. The condenser fan amps are .67 in correct range per manufacturer specifications. The heat exchanger has some rust on it but no cracks or holes are present at this time. The blower amps are 9 in correct range per manufacturer specifications. The 20x25x5 filter is still in decent condition. The system is working properly at this time.
