In Fountain Hills, AZ: DIAGNOSTIC- Upon arrival, found unit off on blower high limit switch. Found indoor filter extremely restricted, causing system to shut off. Removed filter and cycled system. Pressures from the system are very abnormal. With system in charge mode, unit is at 272/356 psig. Amp draw on compressor is very low 9.28/28 RLA. When unit is out of charge mode, compressor is making a lot of noise as it modulates until pressures become static. Spoke with Amana technical support. Recommend replacement of compressor and txv. Parts are under warranty, but labor is not covered. Service complete.
