Upon arrival the technician performed a seasonal cooling safety inspection. The technician began in the attic and replaced the media filters, checked and tested float switch operation, float switch working properly at this time. The technician inspected the drain lines, drain lines clean at this time. The technician inspected The blower cabinet, blower cabinet clean and blower motor working properly at this time. The technician moved onto the outdoor system, starting with the refrigerant. The upstairs systems refrigerant is spot on, the downstairs refrigerant was holding a high head pressure. This was caused by the system being clogged with dirt and mulch. The technician cleaned both systems, and then tested the electrical portion of the system. The technician found that both systems were pulling high amps upon starting of the compressor. The technician recommended a hard start kit to lower the amperage, customer agreed to installing hard start kit. System working properly, pulling low
