The technicians were very professional, and explained to me what they were doing. Charlie also came out to check the unit and discussed with me some other items that I had questions about. This is the MOST helpful, honest and professional company that I have worked with in regards to AC and plumbing.
Technician found that the thermostat was set on on this very old thermostat. The switch does not have the word on or auto on it.. The technician turn off the fan system working properly at this time.
Upon arrival technician found that the condensing unit had leaked out all the refrigerant. Thereâ€™s a weird cut pattern in the coil, on the inside. The condenser will need to be replaced and recharged.
Upon arrival technician found that the system had a failed 7.5 condenser fan motor capacitor. The technician replaced the 7.5 condenser fan motor capacitor, system working properly at this time.
Upon arrival technician found that the dehumidifier is being double filtered. What is causing more water to be brought out of the air and causing the drain line to fill up with too much water, which is causing the dehumidifier to build up water in the drain pan. The only thing that can be done to rectify the situation would be to remove the intake duct to the furnace instead of the plenum due to the fact that the plenum has a media filter on it.
Upon arrival technician found that the 45 x 5 capacitorâ€™s for both systems were considerably low. The technician replaced the capacitorâ€™s and spoke to the homeowner about installing Hard start kit protection. The homeowner agreed since the house is newer and the pastors already going out to the system indeed should have a hard start kit installed. The technician installed hard start kits and capacitors. System working properly at this time.
Upon arrival the technician found that the insulation blowing through the system is just a bit of insulation from the return. The technician also address the molding issue. The technicians best recommendation would be to install a river halo on a system to eradicate all the mold in the house. The technician also informed the customer that the rusting vent in the restroom should be changed out for a plastic vent so that it does not condensate. Technician also spoke with the homeowner about installing a supply and return in the bedroom so that they can cool down the bedroom easier.
Upon arrival the technician found the system was not powered on. The technician took the door off of the unit. Then the technician pushed in the door switch, the system down powered on properly. Technician believes that there was a power shortage and the door being taken off and Reset has reset the unit. System working properly at this time.
Upon arrival technician spoke with the homeowner. The homeowner said that he cleared out the drain line and just wanted to make sure that it was properly cleared. Technician inspected the system and found out that he indeed properly cleared out the drain line. The technician inspected the rest of the system drain line. The drain line is cleared out and the system is working properly at this time.
Upon arrival technician found that the 15 MFD capacitor had failed. The technician replaced 15 FD capacitor. Technician also noticed that when the system froze up and defrosted, the system flooded itself. When the installers install the equipment originally they moved the circuit board down to the bottom. And when the unit flooded it corroded a little bit of the circuitboard. But the system is working properly at this time.
Arrival technician found that the 45 x 5 capacitor had failed. The technician replaced the 45 x 5 capacitor. System working properly at this time.
Upon arrival technician found that the upstairs system is low on our 410 a refrigerant. The technician then found that the leak is in the evaporator coil in the attic. The evaporator coil will need to be replaced. The technician also noticed that the homeowner still have metal ducting. I spoke to them about replacing the ductwork for the upstairs and the downstairs.
Upon arrival technician found that the SS to float switch was full of water, the technician found that the primary drain line had a clog in it that the original technician blew out, the clog was blown further down the line. Which would give the indication that the system is working for a good hour. The technician completely blew out the clog. The technician check the pressures on the system pressures are perfect. System working properly at this time.
Find arrival technician found that the blower motor along with the 20 MFD capacitor had failed. The technician replaced the blower motor and the 20 MFD capacitor. System working properly at this time.
Upon arrival technician performed an AC inspection. The technician found no failures at the time of visit. The entire system is working perfectly fine.
Upon arrival technician found that the 80 x 5 capacitor had failed. The reason why the 80 x 5 capacitor failed is because the system is getting old and over amping. Your sister needs to be replaced, or at least a hard start kit installed to prevent the system from destroying itself, also the technician found two major air gaps in the ductwork. The homeowner still has metal ductwork, the metal ductwork is picking up the attic heat and dispersing it around the house. With holes in her ductwork the system is cooling the attic instead of the bedrooms.
