Work Complete. Used PVC insert flange and tied it down to the lead in between the old cast iron flange and the pipe with 4 4.5” long screws. Pipe is very secure. Attached his toilet and flushed 3 times, no leaks. Due to the nature of how the flange was secured, before proceeding, I informed him there would be no Warrenty. Customer has speech issues and so I confirmed with him more than once. That being said I have full faith there will be no issues regarding the pvc insert moving or being set ajar. Job took several trips because of difficulty difficulty involved on deciding how to anchor the pvc insert down, and because I needed to grab another insert to replace the original one that wouldn’t tighten down.
