"I'm at this customer's home in Pickerington to check out his non-working Carrier furnace.
Upon arrival I replace the Warranty OEM Evaporator Coil. The system is operational upon departure.
During a tune up on a Comfortmaker air conditioner, I tested the temperatures, pressures and electrical components. The motor surge capacitor was reading out of manufacturers specifications so I replaced. Refrigerant levels are okay and system is cooling properly at time of departure.
During a tune up on a Carrier air conditioner, I tested the temperatures, pressures and electrical components. All tests and readings are within manufacturers specifications at this time and system is cooling at time of departure.
I completed a spring tune-up tune on a Bryant air conditioner. I visually inspected the furnace. Checked voltage and amps. I inspected the evaporator coil. I checked the temperature difference across the coil. Checked refrigerant charge, voltages and amps. I rinsed the condenser coils with water. Cycled and monitored the system. Operating normally at this time.
I replaced a OEM main circuit control board. I verified all wiring to the new board. Cooling upon departure.
Upon arrival I installed Warranty OEM Evaporator Coil. The system is operational upon departure.
I completed the Spring Tune-Up and Safety Check checklist. The system is operational and running up to manufacture specifications upon departure.
Upon arrival I replaced the condenser fan motor verified wiring by the wiring diagram. The condenser is now operating properly. The system is operational upon departure.
Upon arrival I completed a Half Install of a Carrier 16 SEER 3 Ton Air Conditioner. The system is operational upon departure.
I completed diagnostics and found the issue to a bad transformer. Transformer receiving 120 from the board but not putting out 24v. I replaced transformer and still having the same issue. I found that the white neutral wire was getting 60v. Neutral wire getting charged. Customer had some 12/2 wire and I ran new wire. Verified wiring to the board. I turned the system on and still no 24 to the board. Verified 120 to the furnace. No power to the neutral wire. Verified 120 to the transformer. I verified 24 from the transformer. The board not receiving the 24v. Bad board as well.
I completed the scheduled maintenance agreement cooling tune up on a Carrier air conditioner. I visually inspected the unit. Checked voltages, amps and pressures. I inspected the evaporator coil. I checked the temperature difference across the coil. Inspected heat pump. Checked refrigerant charge, voltages and amps. I rinsed the condenser coils with water. Cycled and monitored system. All operating normally at this time.
I completed the Spring Tune-Up and Safety Check checklist. The system is operational and running up to manufacture specifications upon departure.
