Upon arrival customer explained that system is not cooling. Found system charge nearly empty of R22 refrigerant, if system is to be charged a leak search must be performed due to phased out refrigerant. Blower is dirty and requires cleaning. Suction line missing most of its insulation. Disconnect switch is broken. Dual capacitor failing and in need of replacement. Furnace is 27 years old and AC is 28 years old. System replacement is recommended due to age, condition and estimated costs of repairs. Set up appointment with comfort specialist to go over replacement options. Recommend joining Comfort Advantage Club.
1)tune up 2) I checked all capacitors and inspected blower wheel assembly I also checked for proper delta t and confirmed system has refrigerant issue that must be addressed client will like to go with someone else at this time. 3)Job complete, left thermostat on desired temperature.
Arrived at church for cooling maintenance on four systems. Did thorough evaluation of all systems. Changed the filters of 3 out of 4. The basement system had no filter and we did not have the correct size. All systems had correct delta ts. Flushed all condensation drain lines with gallon of water. All but one system had correct charges and that was the mid level Goodman unit. We added 3 lbs of r410a to the system. Now system has correct pressures. Electrical readings are within limits. Middle level unit has no water safety. Good man unit had no vent free caps and the electrical contactor was a bit burned.
This option is the least expensive option that would safely address what we were called out for. Filter rack will need to be extended to accept new filter. Current filter rack is 17 3/4†wide by 22†long. Customer is using snap financing. We were originally going to duct cleaning, customer approved for $2700. We are now only doing evaporator coil cleaning and IAQ 1000. Cleaned evaporator coil and installed IAQ 1000. Showed customer how to service filter.
Performed water heater tune up. Flushed water heater. Performed cooling tune up. Flushed drain line. Cleaned condenser coil. Checked all major components. Found that current filter is not correct size and is allowing dirt to get by it. This is causing evaporator coil to become impacted. Ducts are very dirty. No power surge protection for condenser. Filter rack will need to be modified to accept new filter, current filter box 17 3/4†wide by 22†long. Customer using snap financing, approved for $2700. Was originally going to do duct cleaning and IAQ 1000, now only doing evaporator coil cleaning and IAQ 1000.

HVAC Safety Inspection On 3 Hvac systems Gas Furnace safety inspection. Turned the thermostat to heat and raised the temperature to confirm furnace operation, inspected the return grille and the air filter. Checked for gas leaks at the mechanical room and inspected the whole heating system, found air leaks around evaporator coil, metal taped the leaks and checked for carbon monoxide both gas furnaces are working properly Heat Pump heating inspection Fall safety inspection and maintenance on 2 heat pump systems Performed heating safety inspection an a Heat pump system. Turned the thermostat to heating and raised the temperature to 80*, then went to the mechanical room to inspect the indoor unit, pulled and inspected the air filter, inspected the indoor evaporator coil, inspected the blower assembly, inspected the heating elements and checked operation of the 15 kw heater kit only 10 kw on one of the heating elements is not coming on advised the client of the findings and went over the
