Customer explained that system was freezing up the other day and water was leaking from air handler. Upon arrival found that evaporator coil is rusty and 100% impacted requiring chemical cleaning. Blower wheel and motor are also 100% impacted and require chemical cleaning. Lots of biological growth throughout air handler, system needs virucide fogger sanitation treatment and UV light to kill and prevent biological growth. Filter is not adequate size, needs 19x21x1â€. Blower and dual capacitors are failing and in need of replacement. System R22 refrigerant charge is very low and requires charging and leak search. System is 15 years old and has passed its life expectancy making it more prone to failures. System replacement is recommended due to age, condition and estimated costs of repairs.
