Thanks Duane for the great 5 star feedback!
A gas furnace in Moorhead, MN, was blowing cold air due to a failed igniter. I inspected the unit and found the Hot Surface Igniter (HSI) cracked. Using a replacement Honeywell Q3200U2002 igniter, I swapped out the faulty part, ensuring proper connections. Afterward, I tested the system, verifying the burners lit correctly and warm air circulated throughout the home. A final inspection confirmed the furnace was operating efficiently and safely. Customer is warm and happy!
I replaced a faulty pressure relief valve on a residential boiler in Fargo, ND. The old valve was leaking, causing pressure loss. I installed a new Watts 374A valve and tested the system to ensure proper operation and pressure stability.
I was called to a home to inspect a furnace that wasn't working. After inspection, I found that the zone valve needed to be replaced and installed a new thermostat. The furnace is now operational.
I was called to inspect a boiler that wasn't working. I found the gas shut off from another home remodel contractor. I turned on the gas and performed routine maintenance on the boiler. I cleaned the burners, ignitor, flame sensor, visually inspected the wiring and connectors, and verified the safeties were working properly. I noted that the pressure relief valve was leaking, but the customer declined to fix it at this time. No other issues were found.
I performed a thorough inspection of the furnace, replacing the air filter, cleaning the burners, and lubricating the moving parts. I also checked the thermostat and made adjustments to ensure optimal performance.
I replaced the expansion tank on the boiler, restarted and verified pressure at 15 psi. All working properly.
I performed routine maintenance on the furnace to improve efficiency and longevity.

I performed an IAQ (Indoor Air Quality) test for a homeowner concerned about allergens in the air. Using a particle counter and VOC sensor, I measured dust, pollen, and other airborne contaminants. After reviewing the data, I recommended installing a whole-home air purifier integrated with their existing HVAC system. Additionally, I checked the humidity levels in the ductwork and suggested the addition of a humidifier for optimal indoor comfort. The homeowner is now considering these upgrades for better air quality and overall health.
