During a recent maintenance call, I adjusted the Outdoor Thermostat (ODT) dial and the Supply Air Temperature dial on an HVAC system. The ODT dial was recalibrated to ensure optimal system operation during varying outdoor temperatures. I also fine-tuned the Supply Air Temperature dial to achieve the desired indoor climate conditions. After making these adjustments, I tested the system to confirm it was operating efficiently and maintaining the correct temperature settings, ensuring comfort and energy efficiency for the occupants.
