A/C Diagnostic. Installed surge protector on control circuit. All system components are within manufactured range. Units are operating properly upon departure.
Upon arrival to complete my estimate I found the customer to actually be wanting a quote for a Trailer unit. Once reviewing with the customer, we are unable to do this service.
I completed a full install on a Five Star 14 SEER upon departure system was working as it should.
Performed a diagnostic service call for a heat pump. Bad condenser fan on second system. System is scheduled for replacement.
Upon arrival I found a blown low voltage fuse. I replaced the fuse and cycled the system and it instantly trips when I power the Y circuit. Traced low-voltage short down to the wire that goes through the high pressure and low pressure cut out on the outdoor unit. The wire was not secured properly and was pinched in between the bracket on the condenser coil so had eventually rubbed through insulation causing it to short out each time the heat pump got a call to come on. I remove this wire and wrapped it with electrical tape and secured it to a different wire bundle. Cycled system. Everything is running on my departure.
Upon arrival I replaced the gas valve and circuit board. The system is operational upon departure.
Upon arrival the customer stated the furnace would light then immediately shut off. I cycled furnace and found flame sensor reading 0.0uA. I pulled and cleaned sensor then reinstalled. After cleaning read 2.6uA. I allowed to run approximately 15 minutes with no further issues. At time of departure furnace operational with a temp rise of 50 degrees. Goodman
