Performing heating maintenance on this 8 year old Carrier heat pump for the finished basement. Replaced filter and chemical cleaned outdoor coils. Checked Freon readings. Tested back up stripheat and defrost cycles. Capacitor is very weak and causing compressor to pull excessive amps.
