Our water heater was leaking...and it did not have to be replaced. Barry Thompson was able to diagnose the problem and expertly fix it. He was also nice to talk with and willing to explain the problem with our heater. We are repeat customers, because earlier this year, Powell and Turner Heating and Cooling installed our new heat pump and did meticulous work. My Service Technician, Barry, was prompt, considerate, knowledgable, and willing to explain what he was doing and why. He even took the time to give me a hands-on tutorial of my digital thermostat. For years I had problems with my heat pump and the contractors. I was so frustrated so many times! Finally Barry came into my life and my home and gave me the best 17 years of good maintenance and service – – I had not one problem in 17 years! When my parents home that I rented in Annapolis needed a new heat pump/air-conditioner I got the most efficient one for 1904 house – – it was the best investment I ever made. I have used some very well renowned local Heating & Cooling companies in the past for emergency repair, non-emergency repair and service and Powell and Turner stands tall above them to me. I purchased a brand new heating system last year from Powell & Turner and the price was fantastic and the warranty/service agreement was even better. The folks that answer the phones are always pleasant & knowledgeable and promptly take care of my call. The salesman was so helpful and not pushy. The Owner Wayne was present during installation, which happened without a hitch. The system runs great. I've had two service calls since the installation for minor things and customer service promptly handled my calls and they either came out same day or early next day. I recommend them to all my friends. I can't think of one thing they could do to improve their organization. Give them a try! I seriously doubt you will be disappointed.
