Wayne Turner and his crew (Edwin visited us today) are hands down, one of the best companies in the area. Prompt, courteous, fair, knowledgeable service with attention to detail. Edwin, exhibiting professionalism and consideration for our home (all technicians wear shoe covers and clean up after themselves), took the necessary time and steps needed to service both our furnace and air conditioner. We have been a customer since the late 1990's and would not ever consider calling any other company when we have HVAC issues. We have been customers of Powell and Turner from as far back as 1997. Just today, Wayne Turner was at our home to make a service call for a minor repair. As he pulled away in his van, I noticed the saying on the side of his vehicle - "How can we be your hero today?" That sums it up perfectly. First off, you will never meet a more honest, dependable, trustworthy, prompt, considerate, professional and friendly individual and businessman. His entire team of technicians are carbon copies of Wayne and these attributes. Why, they even put shoe covers on when they enter your home! All are equally skilled and well-trained. Their rates are fair and reasonable and the office staff is a delight. Powell and Turner is SO EASY AND ENJOYABLE to do business with. It is without hesitation that I highly recommend Powell & Turner for all of your cooling and heating needs!

I was not a previous customer but when I called they immediately came out. Barry was very professional and knowledgable. He arranged his schedule to come back first thing in the morning to get my system up and going and he took pride in his work and service and I thought that was Awesome.

Overall I was satisfied, but that was because of Barry. Barry was very attentive and hopefully fixed the problem. He respected that I installed the unit and was capable of much more than the standard homeowner. I was a little off-put by the $150 quote for a part (35/5 Split Capacitor) that I bought on Amazon for $18 including delivery. Its only 4 wires with quick disconnects to replace and a 750% mark-up for a part is way out of line. Will do it myself. Freon was also pricy, $152 for first 2# then $4/oz after. My 8 pounds cost $536 or $67/pound. Compare to the going rate of $11/pound on e-Bay if you have a license, which I do not. Still a 600%+ mark-up seems steep. Barry did offer me a service plan which cut the price as well as a new customer $50 discount which brought the overall price down by several hundred dollars over regular pricing. Thank you Barry, obviously you could have neglected to do this and I would have had no other choice than pay full fare.
