7/16-Diagnosis finds bad control board. 7/18-H/o advised water lekaed onto coiling of kitchen and clearned drain line himself. IN process water may have shorted board out. Test of system finds shorted out control board although it cannot be determined when it occurred. Return trip to install board today from Nordyne parts. Board has 1 year part warranty (2 year warranty board declined). Rewired new board and tested system. System shuts on/off at thermostat and heating components are no longer running during a call for cool as it was before. Ac freon levels perfect, all ok at this time.
