On-call tech responded to an emergency HVAC call in on Pacific Coast Highway in Torrance, CA. RTU #5 caused the fire alarm to go off. Fire department had responded. Inspected unit, found the unit's smoke detector tripped. Cleaned and reset detector, alarm off now no other issues with unit found. Confirmed all operations normal again with EMS.
