It’s misleading to call it a free leak detection service if all one does is use a moisture meter. When you have a leak it’s pretty evident. “Detecting a leak” means to actually identify where the leak is. Cutting up a bunch of drywall not finding the leak and giving up is hardly work. Incompetence at its best!
