Client purchased the home in the Spring and is interested in getting the plumbing up to a quality standard. The water lines are copper and CPVC, the CPVC is prone to cracking and leaking, client wants it replaced. The copper piping has corroded joints so I’m going to include a cost to replace all water lines. Either replacement option will include replacing the valves we discussed, adding a pressure reduction valve and creating a bypass to have the shutoff in the home rather than the crawl space. Water line replacement will include new fixture shutoffs, supply lines and insulated lines in the crawl space. The crawl space has been encapsulated and a dehumidifier was installed. There is a few ducts in the crawl space that need attention. One needs the insulation put back on the boot, another needs a new boot and reattached. A few others need to be strapped correctly to prevent pinching which causes a loss of airflow. I recommend having the HVAC systems checked out by out maintenance team
