Response from Swift Services Heating & Cooling:
Thank you, Nobel, our technicians like to work diligently and check all ends before jumping to conclusions to make sure we get to the bottom of the issue, so you can enjoy the air conditioning.
Swift services performed the first tune-up on the new Lennox has heat package unit to ensure proper operation of the equipment. Testing was conducted in the heat mode because of the weather. At this time the system is able to heat the home and is maintaining the 74°f thermostat set point. The homeowners did discuss that certain areas of the house are cooler than others. They described also that before the new equipment was installed that an additional return was proposed. The existing return duct diameter was increased. After my inspection I think the unit could use a “Cool Cap†outside to keep debris from building up inside the condenser well. The homeowner is interested in the Cool. Amp and wants us to bring it with us next visit. Maintenance data gathered is as follows: Return air filter status: Assisted the homeowner in changing the filter which suggest doing quarterly, Cleaned igniter, Inspected accessible duct work, Checked wire connections, Checked voltages, Tested dual
Signed customer up for service agreement membership. System has no refrigerant. Informed customer of her options. Purchase a new coil and refrigerant (9lbs), or purchase new system. Agreed to new system. Paying diagnostic fees and membership fees with credit card on file.
Checked system, found bad 45/5 capacitor. Replaced under parts warranty.
