Preformed prepaid maintenance on a Goodman Amana split heat pump system, model and serial number match in system. Checked filter and checked pressures checked amp draws cleaned coils and cleaned drain line. Added algae tabs to drain pan for drain line prevention. Customer stated the blower would not operate last night but the condenser did. Today it’s working however I recommended replacing the blower motor / module. After checking the warranty the customer chooses to wait and not have me replace the part he’s calling icp to see if they will warranty it. The unit was not registered.

Performed the first SSA tune up on a Goodman split system heat pump. Measured a Delta T of -22 degrees. Blower motor does have some growth on the wiring(sent estimate for UV light and Media filter). Tested the float switch. Tightened all wiring. Cleaned the Evaporator and Condenser coils. Cleared the primary drain line. Capacitor is testing at 32.8 which is in range of 35/5. Refrigerant charge is sufficient at this time. System is performing as it should.

Performed first SSA tune up on a Lennox split system heat pump. Delta T measured at -17 degrees. Tested the SS2. Tightened al wiring. Cleaned the Evaporator and Condenser coils. Cleared the drain line. Capacitor is testing at 37.1MFD which is in range of 35/5. System may be slightly undercharged, with 92.7psi suction line(42SH). However, the system is producing a sufficient Delta T. System is operating as it should.

Swift Services returned to replace a failed ballast for the homeowners Lennox PureAir purification device. The Pure Air unit uses industry leading photo-catalytic oxidation technology paired with a powerful MERV 16 filtration system to provide the homeowners with superb indoor air quality. The costs were for the Pure Air Maintenance Kit which included both filters and both UV bulbs, then the cost of the ballast replacement was separate.

Swift services came out to with the maintenance kit for the homeowners Pure Air filtration and air quality system. This means we changed both air filters that the unit has as well as both UV bulbs. After changing the bulbs I discovered that the new bulbs were not coming on. I checked power to the device which had 120 volts, therefore the ballast of the Pure Air must be malfunctioning. We will replace this under the homeowners parts warranty. They will still have to pay for the Pure Air Maintenance Kit once the unit is back to working properly.
