great service and great price

Thanks again for the bio of your tech's and their pictures. Living in CT and renting to families who have children, it creates a safe environment when I can text them pictures of the persons coming to fix a problem. This was a preventative maintenance and I appreciate the fact that it was done when scheduled.

Good Technician --- but bad pricing

Clay is top notch and knowledgeable technician and goes out of the way to help the customer. I give Clay 5 stars !!!! But the problem arose that we were quoted $850.00 to replace our motor and when they go and pick up the part from carrier, the price was now $2400.00. So there was disconnect between carrier and Swift some where. We did not spend this kind of money for a motor , we got a 2nd opinion and that motor with installation was closer to the quoted $850 and way less then the $2400. I appreciate that Swift allowed us to continue to use the portable ac until our ac if fixed.

Response from Swift Services Heating & Cooling:

Hi Ron, I am glad to hear you received 5-star service but sorry to hear that the part was misquoted from the technician. I will bring this to the General Managers attention so he can work with the staff on providing accurate quotes to prevent this from happening again. Thanks!

Cleaned and checked system. Cleaned out drain coil and checked duct work it need to be wrapped and mastic where the runs tie into main duct. I also checked the drier vent and it is loose in wall did not touch the pipe it is blowing up beside pipe in wall . It is also not blowing the cap open good not a lot of air flow it needs to be cleaned out. We have a 28 degree rise in heating across the coil. All wiring and amps and motor and compressor and capacitor are good. Need to put a sta-clean strip in the spring time to keep drains clean. The system is working good at this time. Just have a couple thing I saw that needs to be done to help the unit to run like it should and where you would not be losing air into your attic and cause it to sweet and possibly water onto the ceiling. But most of all if we seal the duct work where it is leaking it would help your unit heat and cool better and it would save you money because it would be going into the home not the attic. And fix and clean drier

Arrived to perform maintenance on clients units. Sprayed and added algicide tablets to coils to help kill bacteria and break down any sludge that may be in the drain line. There is no water in the safety Ss2 switch. Tested safety switch and it is working the way that it should. Home is being supplied by 120 degrees. Replaced filter for client (16x20). Drain is running off a common drain. Tested 35/5 dual run capacitor:(34.9/4.5). Checked refrigerant levels and they are where they need to be. Tested the units defrost mode and it’s functioning properly. All wires are tight and in good shape. At this time system is getting the correct amperage and functioning properly.

Seasonal maintenance was performed to ensure safe and proper operation of both HVAC systems for the home. We installed new equipment for both the upstairs and downstairs at different times this past year of 2019, and today is the first check up on the equipment for cleaning and confirmation that comfort has been achieved. Testing was conducted in the heat mode to prepare for winter. Maintenance data gathered is as follows: Return air filter status: The air filters need to be changed which is the responsibility of the homeowner, Tested both electric heat kits, Applied coil spray and algicide to each evaporator coil, Inspected accessible duct work, Checked wire connections, Tested safety switches: Pan switch and SS2, Air flow diagnostics including static pressure and temperature rise survey, Manually tested defrost cycle of the heat pumps, Monitored system pressure of both heat pumps, Conditions during maintenance procedures: Conditions include but are not limited to, an outdoor ambien

Seasonal maintenance was performed to ensure safe and proper operation of the HVAC system, todays testing was conducted in the heat mode. At this time the system is able to heat the home, as displayed by the produced supply temperature of 100°f achieved without even using electric heat backup. Maintenance data gathered is as follows: Return air filter status: Clean and changed regularly, Tested 8KW heater: 37.78 totals amps on the air handler with the electric heat operating - This is a safe amp draw for the size of the heater, Applied coil spray and algicide to cut bacteria and scale, Inspected accessible duct work, Checked wire connections, Tested safety switches: Pan switch and SS2, Tested 45/5 dual run capacitor: 45.62/5.37, Manually tested system defrost, Monitored system pressure: 109psig Suction, Conditions during maintenance procedures: Conditions include but are not limited to, an outdoor ambient temperature of 58°f.
