Clients called us out today due to issues with cooling down home. Client stated another company had been out and they believe the issue to be the ductwork. Unfortunately ductwork is in the ceiling on a manufactured home and is not accessible. Cycled system. Noticed water in emergency drain switch. Usually an indication of primary condensation line backing up. Removed sensor and ran system for 20 minutes with no issue. AC is 11 years old and furnace is 30+ years old. Believe primary condensation line is just backing up and intermittently turning the system off. Clients agreed to clearing condensation line. Used nitrogen tank to clear line and poured roughly 3 L of water down with no back up. Advised clients get carbon monoxide monitor for old furnace.
