Thanks for coming out quickly, and doing a good job figuring out issue. It was also very nice to speak to a live person on the phone when scheduling the service.

Massively disappointing

Bryan was unfriendly and dismissive of the homeowners and certainly did not want to do business with us. His estimate was not filled in.

Great service!

Thompson Plumbing & Heating is our trusted provider for our heating, A/C needs. Ty is always professional and courteous. He does not try to ‘upsell’ while making recommendations that can keep our system running more effectively. I appreciate the maintenance program that inspects the furnace and A/C during the year - we identified coolant leaks early.

Client called us out today to look at airflow issues for one side of the home. Master bedroom is getting a majority of airflow and backside of home with three guest rooms is getting very little. After inspection found there is no proper Plenum to distribute airflow due to original house build. Looking at the possibility of adding a zoning system. If zoning system is not possible, dampeners would need to be added. We will reach out to client when a solution can be determined.

Cleaned and flushed primary and secondary evaporator drain lines; removed debris blocking drain under upstairs bathroom sink; ran unit to cool for 3hours and observed proper flow from primary drain line without any intermittent interruptions from water safety switch; cleaned condenser coil and signed up for Thompson’s Service Partner Plan. No further recommendations at this time.

Client called us out today due to system not properly cooling master bedroom. Another tech had been out earlier this week and was able to get the system to work for a few days. Outdoor condenser is operational but no cooling is taking place. Secondary motor control for compressor is within spec pulling a 67 out of 70 µF. Hooked up refrigerant gauges and found compressor was completely stagnant with no push to pull. This would indicate the compressor is the issue and would need to be replaced. Client stated Maytag system had refrigerant leak issues in the past. Due to the state and age of the system and what would be required for repairs advised client replace with more reliable model. Client has agreed to move forward with system replacement. Will bring out portable cooler tomorrow. Install date scheduled for August 1st. Thank you for trusting Thompson with your heating, cooling and plumbing needs.

2 y.o Clients called us out today due to water draining out of side of home. Usually an indication of a primary condensation line backing up. Another company had installed system and client refuses to have them come out to fix issue. After opening attic access, found flue pipe completely disconnected from furnace. Explained to clients this was a major health and safety issue. Does not look like previous company tried to screw in flue pipe. Vinyl tubing underneath sink with a major kink. Blew out line with nitrogen tank. Water is still finding its way into secondary drain pan. Found water leaking into secondary drain pan, indication of a crack in primary drain pan. Systems have multiple code violations. Manager will write up repair list and email to client. Thompson reserves the right to disqualify itself if repairs cannot be guaranteed. Thank you for trusting Thompson with your heating, cooling and plumbing needs.

Came out to check for a water leak and after investigation I found it’s in the irrigation line that feeds the auto fill for the pool so I shut that off and that stop the leak. The owner is a landscaper and they will replace it.

Thompson Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning came out and met with Pam regarding master shower not draining, Pam also stated that water would come out of air gap during dishwasher use. Snaked shower drain line 25 feet, removed hair from drain line and cleared stoppage. In kitchen removed and cleaned 7/8” hose, reinstated and ran a quick drain cycle to ensure stoppage was cleared. At this time both fixtures are working as designed. Thank you for choosing Thompson Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning

Client called us out today due to no cooling coming from AC. Outdoor condenser is operational upon arrival. Usually an indication of a secondary motor control failing or a refrigerant leak. Found secondary motor control was pulling a 5 out of 45 µF. Client has agreed to move forward with replacing failed component. Replaced component and cycled system. Did not have standard component, so upgraded client to turbo at the price of the standard. System is now operational and cooling the home. Getting a 15 to 16° split. Recommend hard start kit in off-season to mitigate compressors workload and extend systems lifespan. Thank you for trusting Thompson with your heating, cooling and plumbing needs.

Replaced filters on both indoor units and checked condensate drains on both units. Noticed the west side systems safety switch was collecting water. Noticed vent cap missing so replaced vent cap, same with the east side unit. Recommended a outdoor unit coil cleaning as the coils are extremely dirty.
