When entering the house and walking up the stairs I did see water damage on the drywall ceiling I traced the water damage back to the downstairs ac system. I made adjustments to the system in the attic but also checked the refrigerant charge and noticed it was low on refrigerant. Refrigerant was low enough to cause the evaporator coil to freeze. When the system is run for that long in conditions like this the coil will turn to a block of ice with that ice extending beyond the drain pan causing water to leak in areas it should not. I added refrigerant and sealant to the system to remedy the issue for now and scheduled a return trip for march to check the refrigerant charge.
