Replace customer supplied kitchen faucet
Customer states that ever since they had the new stove top installed they could smell gas. They turned off the gas going to to stove top to be safe . When I arrived I turned the gas on and used my sniffer to locate the leak. The leak was coming from the gas line that connects to the gas regulator. Tighten the hose down and checked for leaks. No leaks were found. There is no warranty on this repair.
Thompson plumbing was called out for a leak investigation in the kitchen area. Thompson performed pressure drop test. Water pressure dropped 60lbs in less than one minute. Thompson plumbing cut drywall behind kitchen faucet between counter top and ceiling. Exposed pipe burst on 1/2” cold copper pipe. Cut out 2 foot section and installed new section of pex line with repair fittings. Turned water back on. Checked for leaks. No leaks found. Performed pressure drop test. Water pressure held at 60lbs. Flushed out system. Cleaned up work area. Took pictures. Collected payment by credit. Arrived for no cool call. Found breaker tripped. Reset breaker and tested for causes of breaker to trip. Found unit to have slightly high LRA. Homeowner declined hard start at this time. Found no other possible causes for breaker to trip.
Arrived for no cool. Found unit very low on refrigerant. Homeowner declined all repairs at this time. Unit 34 years old.
Diagnose and troubleshoot the water heater issue . The vapor sensor went off and caused the unit to stop heating water. Reset the unit and appears to be working properly. Called customer service and they explained that the paint cans that were next to the unit could have caused it to go off. Also any dust or water could have caused it to go off.

This estimate is to replace the shower cartridge in the upstairs hallway bathroom. We will need to turn off the water to the home in order to replace the cartridge. Upon arrival we spoke with the homeowner and we’re informed of the water heater approximately 11 years old. The homeowner would like estimates to replace the water heater. We also learned that the water heater has not been kept on a maintenance. We informed the homeowner that starting to perform maintenance on the water heater at this part of its life cycle would be counterproductive and could possibly affect the functionality of the water heater. We then provided two separate estimates for replacement. The homeowner will speak with her son about which option would fit her needs best. She will contact us once she’s made a decision
