Excellent service!

I called after hours on Friday, and got a return call first thing Saturday morning, and was promised that someone would be out that day. Will showed up that afternoon, and did the job with a smile. we couldn’t ask for anything more. Thank you, Will and Thompson!

Hmmmm

Chris was great! But I'm not stoked on what I was charged for the part. I looked it up during the appointment, a 70+5 mfd 440/370v motor run capacitor replacement is ~$30 and the "part" was listed as over $400 on the iPad screen. Mentally, I justified it as 1) I need my AC to work right now and 2) I'll concede that there's no labor charge broken out or "included." I won't leave a bad review because it's business, but I am not stoked on the cost. If it wasn't urgent I would have shopped around and maybe the price is competitive, but just not a good feeling seeing the difference.

Clients called us out today due to no cooling coming from condenser. Upon arrival outdoor condenser is operational but compressor is fairly quiet. Tested secondary motor control and found component had failed pulling an 8 out of 70 µF. Replaced component and cycled system. System is now operational and cooling the home. System is producing a 17 to 18° split. Ran system for 10 to 15 minutes with no other issues. Thank you for trusting Thompson with your heating, cooling and plumbing needs.

For this job we preformed a tankless water heater flush. The process took approximately 45 minutes. Once the flushing was complete I inspected the water and found nothing to report to the homeowner. The unit is in great condition.

8 y.o System is non-operational upon arrival. Client states system has never been serviced. After inspection found secondary motor control had failed. Client has agreed to part replacement. Install new component and cycled system. System is now operational and cooling the home. Explained builders had put undersized system on home (3 ton for 3000 square-foot home). Thank you for trusting Thompson with your heating, cooling and plumbing needs.

Inspection of the system showed a possible crack in the secondary heat exchanger condensate collection box. Water is leaking from the right side screw below the collector box. Also noticed an airflow issue with the system as the low side saturation temp, SH and suction pressure are low. System is operating for now but recommend replacement.

Upon arrival we spoke with the homeowner and we’re informed of needing several estimates. We began by giving an estimate for the ice maker valve which is located behind the refrigerator. The current ice maker is older and weed recommend replacement of it. We then proceeded to provide an estimate to replace the toilet in the master bathroom as it is currently leaking from the tank to bowl gasket. We then checked under the right handed sink in the master bathroom. We found the pop up assembly top gasket to be worn and leaking. We recommend replacing the faucet together with the pop up as they’re the same age.
