CONCERN: Customer reports that the Kenmore ice maker is not functioning properly. Model 106.51564104 DIAGNOSTIC AND CAUSE: Tested output power from control to ice maker, power output is normal. Tested water supply to refrigerator, water supply to refrigerator is normal. Tested ice maker thermostat for continuity, thermostat continuity is normal. Tested ice maker optics, emitter and receiver boards are not communicating. Cause failed ice maker emitter and receiver boards failed. CORRECTION: Replaced ice maker emitter and receiver board and tested, operation is now normal. W10757851
