Ice maker not working. Loop 303/Mountain View CONCERN: Customer reports ice maker is not making ice. DIAGNOSTIC AND CAUSE: Inspected water supply lines for leaks, no leaks from supply lines at the time of inspection. Inspected freezer for proper temperature output, temperature output in freezer normal at the time of inspection. Inspected for proper voltage to the ice maker, voltage to ice maker is normal at the time of inspection Found voltage to the Ice maker normal, incoming water pressure is way too high. RECOMMENDATION: Due to high incoming water pressure ice maker is filling too fast and causing overrun. Recommend plumber install a pressure regulator to the whole house or install a 1/4 angle stop at there refrigerator wall valve.
