Our service provider did the job effectively and communicated well. However, it cost far more than was reasonable to replace the gasket for the refrigerator portion. Total cost was $230. If gasket price was ~$75 as described, labor cost was $150 for a job that took less than 45 minutes. That is unconscionably high for a basic repair job. I was told that was simply the base, standard rate for that job. I asked for this estimate prior to scheduling the call because I knew exactly what was done; however, the woman on the phone refused to provide it. Then I'm roped into either accepting the crazy price or paying $90 for a diagnostic I didn't even need because I already knew exactly what the problem was. The communication and pricing here was unthoughtful, unfair, and unreasonable.

Thank you for your feedback! I understand your pricing concerns. Unfortunately our prices reflect the cost of doing business. In order for us to offer in home service we have extra expenses that other repair industries do not have and there for have to charge accordingly. As for the communication on the pricing, our CSR's and office staff have no way of pricing a repair. That is done with a software that is built into the technicians IPads and the office has no access to it. We understand this can cause some frustration but, typically, it is not needed in the office. I hope this eases some of your concerns and we do appreciate your feedback.
