Responded to call for damaged ac disconnect. Upon arrival customer advised hvac tech stated furnace disconnect is damaged and needs to be replaced. Inspected disconnect. Found disconnect melted and hvac tech bypassed damaged disconnect for furnace operation. Advised customer of 13 point inspection to determine if there is an underlying problem. Customer agreed to inspection. Inspected electrical panel. Found breakers are prematurely worn. Found numerous signs of surges in the home. Found cord terminal block on stove has taken a surge. Advised customer of all findings. Advised customer of all options. Customer stated she will call next month to schedule work to be completed. Thank you. Eric Messer.
