Today, I installed an ornamental iron fence at a commercial property in Pittsboro, NC. The job involved setting 8 posts in concrete at 6-foot intervals and attaching pre-fabricated wrought iron panels using heavy-duty mounting brackets. I used a hammer drill to create precise holes for anchoring in the concrete base. To ensure an even height across the fence line, I used a string line and checked each panel with a level. After installation, I inspected the finish and touched up minor scratches with black rust-resistant paint for a seamless look.
