Alarm Systems Inspection Annual Alarm Inspection Inoperable Deficiency for Edwards VS-2 Electrical Room: Smoke detector in the second floor was showing “monitor and service detector”. I looked up the serial number and matched it to the smoke detector on “2nd Floor Corr. #5 @ Quiet Room #2” I disconnected the smoke detector and blew air and cleaned it out. After several attempts the smoke service trouble did not clear. Will need to be replaced. Fire alarm report will be green Tagged as the smoke detector still goes into alarm.
