Troy Brown and Carlos promptly arrived and inspected my 18year old sprinkler system. The system needed to be repaired and valves needed replacements. Troy clearly explained everything. Both Troy and Carlos worked “hands on” on this hot and humid Texas summer day. Good guys!
This is one of the most amazing, professional group I have ever met. The work of the project manager and the team was excellent. They went above and beyond on the project. They are awesome. I highly recommend this group.
The team was great, super transparent, and did the work really well.
Weston did an excellent job! He was thoughtful, explained what he was doing or going to do. Asked about concerns. Discussed options with me. Andy’s was referred to me by a neighbor; am getting ready to send him a thank you note! If I need Andy’s again, I want Weston, if he’s available!
Daniel and Luis did a great job replacing many broken irrigation parts and also installing a new controller box and rain sensor. They were very thorough, polite, and answered any questions I had. Thank you.
Our irrigation system was broken and wouldn't stop running, and I didn't know how to turn it off. Troy was able to come right away. He and Nestor found the problem and were able to turn the system off. They went out of their way to help!
Great service, thoroughly professional, attention to detail and courti.
Daniel did an excellent job repairing my sprinkler system. He was very thorough and explained everything. Prices are somewhat high but I rather know for sure the job is done right. He succeeded where other companies failed. Thank you.
Gavin is very helpful, knowledgeable, and a stand out at his job at And’s. He recalls well what was done to the irrigation system and understands everything about water.
During the systems check, multiple issues were found throughout te property that needed to be repaired, as well as a large leak under the pool patio. A total of 30 Sprinkler heads throughout the property were either leaking at the base of the stem and body, leaking at the water connection underground, was crooked and spraying into the ground, or did not retract after the zone was shut off. 24 of the sprinkler heads were regular spray heads in the front yard, and flowerbeds. Five of the sprayheads were rotary spray nozzles in the backyard for zone eight, and one additional head would be added in part of zone eight to ensure proper coverage. Four spray heads and risers would be capped as they are unnecessary for the location. And four nozzles were clogged or damaged and needed to be replaced. Zone seven had a large leak or open line under the patio for the pool. The valve for zone two was not working mechanically, or electrically and needed to be replaced. During the investigation, it
Customer called to have us repair 2 leaks, one on by right of property outside back fence by alley, one at front of property by street. Found 2 drips leaks on zone 3, when we repaired those 2 more by street popped up, repaired those as well. Found a leaking head on zone one front yard by alley entrance, repaired. Leak by alley we capped but left slightly visable. Customer wanted drip zone along fence capped, but 2 drip lines run through there and one feeds the easement by the street, unknown which line that is without thorough investigation and excavation. Did not locate valve for zone 6 because I was mistaken, there is no zone 6.
Replaced backflow preventer (dca) including new box, adding a ball valve prior to the backflow, and scheduling an inspection. Repaired major leak under the tree in the front yard. Replaced valve for zone 1 in the front yard. Replaced 3 pop ups and 1 rotor. Straightened 2 heads and replaced 5 nozzles.
Customer called us out for general system check and because the back yard (zone 4) is not getting enough water. Found one broken head and one broken nozzle, both MPs. Found one broken spray head on left side of front yard. Replaced 2 heads and one nozzle. Zone 4 MP covers entire back yard, only runs one day 2 times for 20 mins each, increased time to 35 minutes but recommended to the customer that it should get 1.5-2 hours per week. Sent estimate to add one head to zone 4 in back left corner of yard and add one head to zone 5 by back patio.
We came to check the landscape lighting and figure out why it wasn’t working. The transformer is an “I.t.” Bluetooth transformer, and it was unplugged when we arrived. We plugged the transformer in, and connected the Bluetooth to my application. This solved the “fault light” and allowed me to turn on the lights. The last fixture in the series had a LED bulb out. The bulb was out because the fixture had a bad wire connection causing the bulb to short or flicker. We made new wire connections, waterproofed the new connections, replaced the LED bi-pin bulb, and turned everything back on to check our work. We spoke with the customer afterwards.
Customer called due to pipe break in back yard, pipe was already exposed as designed, easy fix. Also found 3 heads in center right front yard and 2 in back in bushes that were too short, replaced with 6in heads. Replaced leaking 4 inch head by right gate. Replaced shrub riser that blew off by front left corner of house. Fixed drip leak under back porch and 6 way emitter by garage.
We came for a leak by the street. Turned out to be the master valve. We found the solenoid stripped off the top of the valve. We dug up and replaced the master valve before we could check the system. We checked our work on the master valve and checked the system. After the system check we found 11 contractor heads in the front yard that are short, leaking, or sticking. We also found 2 15’ nozzles in 8’ spacing to change. We spoke with the customer, and they decided not to move forward with the remaining repairs at this time. We put the repairs into a quote, and attached the quote to this invoice.
Replaced 3 nozzles along the sidewalk in the front. Replace one six inch popup along the left side of the house. Replaced one rotor in the back left corner of the backyard.
We came to check on a possible leak in the drip by the street. Turned out to be the neighbors head that was leaking. We got the neighbors attention, and discussed options. We decided to do a band-aid fix to see if there is a bigger issue, so we did a repair only replacement of the low head. We replaced the head with a SAM/PRS30 head that seals after use. The neighbors will make another appointment of the issue persists.
The client had some concerns about the drip irrigation for the flowerbeds at the front of the property. The appropriate repairs for the plants next to the walkway leading to the front door, as well as installing new drip irrigation for the flower bed by the street was presented to the client. Approval was given to complete all of the recommended repairs. All work was completed at the time of the visit, and system checks were performed to ensure everything was working properly after the repairs were made. - Walk away Two additional lines of drip irrigation were added to the sides of the plants that looked slightly brown from lack of water. - Flowerbeds by street Seven lines of drip irrigation were installed the full length of the flower bed. (From the street towards the house) This was tied into zone one so that all of the drip irrigation is on the same zone. Regarding the wet spot in the backyard next to the tree and sprinkler. Multiple flow rate tests, and leak tests were perfor
Completed some grading to improve some drainage for condominium complex.
Zone 1;2 valve failing needs replacement ~will replace in future No rf sensor present~replaced
Customer said they received a letter from the city regarding excess water usage, meter showed leak of .29 gpm. During system check I was unable to locate the source of the leak. The customer either doesn’t have a DCA (backflow) and isolation valve or they are buried deep/in a weird spot, could not locate to isolate the system to determine if the leak is on the irrigation system. I found 2 broken heads that are spewing lots of water but only when those zones are running, wouldn’t account for leak. Found several other heads and nozzles that need replaced but not severe, a few heads that need straightened. Customer was not comfortable approving any labor (including excavation to locate DCA) without first speaking to her husband who was at work for the rest of the day. Emailed several invoices to customer, one of which is to install a new DCA if one is not found. Recommended customer contact a leak detection specialist, and to keep system turned off until broken heads are replaced
