Great communication and job

Very respectful and prompt, went through all my options did not try to upsell me or change my mind. If it was something that I couldn’t do, presented me with all options available from the start. Was able to repair the things that needed repairing on the spot fortunately and he also set up my system for automatic watering again.

Very good service once they arrived

Technician was 11/2 late getting to job site. He did call to let me know he would be late. He did not totally understand my instructions in setting controller. I wished to have system water twice on my day to water. However, he set it up for only one cycle of 9 or 11 minutes depending on which circuit your on. I wanted a second "B" cycle to follow the first so there would be two watering cycles. Can he be sent back to correct the error?

Customer called us out for a suspected leak in the back yard. Ran all 4 zones and watched the suspected area, no leak was evident. Opened the master valve and checked the meter, no leak on the main line. Checked controller settings, everything appeared normal. Customer said that her neighbor was spraying with a hose around the time she found a large amount of water in her yard, I suspect that’s the cause. Told the customer to keep an eye out as her system runs to see if it happens again, if there is a leak then it’s on a zone and very small, informed customer of leak detection companies. Sent customer an estimate to replace old backflow device.

Customer called us out because her dog pulled up a sprinkler head on zone 4. Head was not damaged, re buried the head and worked properly. Customer pointed out a head with a clogged nozzle on zone 5, replaced the nozzle. Also found many heads that were sticking up after running, sent customer an estimate to replace all heads in the spring. HOA doesn’t allow watering when it’s below 75 degrees, system left turned off.

During the system check, no major issues were found in the irrigation system. However, several of the sprinkler heads were positioned too low, and were not spraying the grass evenly. An estimate to replace the sprinklers that were positioned too low will be sent to the client with the invoice for todays visit.

Customer called us out for a follow-up because some heads along the street were sticking up after running, concerned they might get stepped on by pedestrians. We didn’t replace the heads during the first visit but we did replace the nozzles. Replaced 2 sticking 4in heads along the street, warranty replaced the 2 MPs nozzles on the heads. 2 other heads in the back yard were sticking as well but the customer decided not to replace those at this time, otherwise the system is working as intended.

Customer called us out because he is selling the house and needs to make sure the system is in good working order. All zones turned on and off normally. Zones 1-3 are sprays zones in the front and back yard, zone 4 is drip in the back yard, zone 5 is tree bubblers. Zone 4 isn’t being used at this time but it does function normally. System: replaced dead rain sensor battery. Zone 1: no repairs needed. Zone 2: replaced 1 4in head that wasn’t retracting at corner of patio. Zone 3: replaced 1 4in head that wasn’t retracting in back right small patch of grass and 1 broken nozzle at corner of patio. Zone 4: no repairs needed. Zone 5: no repairs needed. No other issues found.

Customer called us out for an irrigation inspection. We found 3 leaking heads throughout the system. Additionally customer had a sidewalk put in on the side of the house and 5 heads need to be moved and replaced for better coverage and due to leaking. We added 3 heads to optimize coverage and efficiency. All repairs made and checked. No additional repairs at this time.

We came originally for a service call to check the system for functionality after a major flood happened (a city water main broke behind the house and washed out a lot). I checked the system and made some troublesome discoveries. The backyard needs further investigation into what it will take to get the zones (6 & 7) working again. The front yard works but this is where I found the troublesome issues. Another company claiming to be Andy’s was here. Zones 2 & 3 have been converted from MP to spray, and this has caused a large strip of the front yard to dry out. The “18’ VAN” spray nozzles don’t cover the 27’ - 30’ spacing. The customer has stated that they went through the proper channels to get us out, however the same white truck was here just like the other few houses. Today, I turned this visit into a winter-prep visit. I will be back in the spring to turn the system back on, and address all of the issues I found today at that time. I came to winterize the system for the season. I did check the system, and I did end up changing 2 nozzles. 1 on zone 1, and the other on zone 6. I checked my work, set the programming for the winter reducing the seasonal adjustment down to 10% for the winter months, and spoke with the customer.

We came to figure out coverage issues, and check the system. The coverage issues, and really all of the issues were cause by the zone valve for zone 3 being stuck open. As soon as the master valve was opened, water started pouring out of the heads for zone 3 and a small river was running into the culvert. We dug up and replaced the valve for zone 3. This effectively stopped a major leak, and solved the coverage issues. We did upsize a nozzle on zone 2, and we changed a cracked nozzle on zone 4. We turned the system back on, made all appropriate adjustments, and spoke with the customer.

We came to figure out an error on the controller, and to check the system. The master valve had failed electrically causing the error on the controller and preventing the system from working. We replaced the master valve. We made a drip repair on zone 1. We also replaced 7 4” heads with 6” heads on zone 3 effectively upgrading zone 3 entirely (6” PRS40 heads matched with MP rotary nozzles). We replaced 1 4” head with a 6” head on zone 7, and 1 more 4” head with a 6” head on zone 8. We checked our work and spoke with the customer. Note: The remaining spray heads are contractor heads. When they start sticking, it will be time to replace them. The rotors in the back yard are quality rotors.

We came for a system check and to move a couple of heads preemptively before the new raised beds are put in. We did find 3 leaking heads the we replaced with 6” SAM/PRS30 spray heads. We replaced 2 on zone 2, and 1 more on zone 7. We replaced and moved 2 4” heads, and changed a MP nozzle on zone 5. We checked our work, and spoke with the customer.
