We came for a system check and to look into a low pressure issue on a certain zone. The zone in question was zone 8, and the valve had failed electricity, and physically. We also discovered the wires leading to the solenoid were exposed (chewed by rodents or dry-rotted). We checked the other valves on the system, and found that the drip-kit and 3 other valves have the same wiring issues. These valves will need to be replaced sooner than later. We also found 30 contractor heads that have run their course (sticking up or down/broken), and a rotor that lost its nozzle due to a cracked housing. We also found several nozzles to change for efficiency purposes. Today we replaced the zone valve for zone 8, we replaced the 6 very broken/leaking heads, and we replaced the broken rotor. The remaining repairs have been put into quotes, and they are attached to this invoice. We checked our work, and we spoke with the customer.
