I was about to buy what seemed like a great condominium at a really great price. But my home inspector detected a bit of mold, and recommended I call Gary. Gary squeezed me into his schedule at the last minute, and put up with delays and stayed late with me even though it messed up his day. Not only did he determine the full extent of the mold situation in my unit, but he also discovered a waterline running all around the walls and leading into the outside hallway. Apparently there had been a flood in my building, and the seller had been hiding that information from me. My realtor (who should have been looking out for my best interests) was making up excuses all along, both for the mold and waterline, but Gary, with his technical expertise and ethical sense, set my realtor straight and stuck up for me. After realizing that I was being deceived by the seller and manipulated by my own realtor, I pulled out of the deal. I had been hesitant at first to spend the few hundred dollars to have the mold inspection done, but in the end it saved me from paying more than a hundred thousand dollars for a huge mistake. Thank you Gary, I am so grateful to you!
