I was about to buy what seemed like a great condominium at a really great price. But my home inspector detected a bit of mold, and recommended I call Gary. Gary squeezed me into his schedule at the last minute, and put up with delays and stayed late with me even though it messed up his day. Not only did he determine the full extent of the mold situation in my unit, but he also discovered a waterline running all around the walls and leading into the outside hallway. Apparently there had been a flood in my building, and the seller had been hiding that information from me. My realtor (who should have been looking out for my best interests) was making up excuses all along, both for the mold and waterline, but Gary, with his technical expertise and ethical sense, set my realtor straight and stuck up for me. After realizing that I was being deceived by the seller and manipulated by my own realtor, I pulled out of the deal. I had been hesitant at first to spend the few hundred dollars to have the mold inspection done, but in the end it saved me from paying more than a hundred thousand dollars for a huge mistake. Thank you Gary, I am so grateful to you!
this was exceptionally good service
We are purchasing a house that has some potential mold and environmental issues and Victor provided us with a thorough education, a professional assessment, and a comprehensive solution to resolve the issues. Victor took the time to make sure we understood everything he was saying, which made us feel very comfortable with the process and with Greenworks. There are a lot of companies out there fear-mongering and trying to sell you things, but Greenworks does none of that. I will confidently recommend them to any friends or family in need of these types of services.
We had purchased a home in July 2015, to our dismay the sellers of the property never disclosed that they had two leaks (one downstairs that flooded every room) and one in the upstairs bathroom, which causes us to have toxic mold and forced us to love out! Because we were desperate, at first we had hired another company to do some testing, which was our biggest mistake! They were totally overpriced and did not communicate very well on how we would need to rectify the situation. This home was supposed to be. Dream home or at least that is what we thought when we made the purchase, little did we know that it was to become our biggest nightmare. We had blown through $1000s of dollars, trying to rectify the situation. Hats when. Lovely man john from my bank called me. He had heard our famous story and wanted to help. We had all been sick with various systems after just moving into the home for one month. Thats when we met Gary. John had referred is to Gary who became our knight in shining armour! Gary came to the home and conducted 11 tests (way more than the previous company). He spent 3 hours with my husband and I and explained all the tasks and steps that we would need to take to find a solution to the problem. Heirs professional and offered tons of helpful information that we would need to follow, which includes moving out of our new home and into temporary housing until remediation could take place. Gary helped us every step of the way and for that we are forever grateful. We have faith and pray that this nightmare will go away and the healing will begin, but we could not have known what to do without Gary's guidance, knowledge and ongoing support through our crisis! Thank you Gary! We will never forget what you have done for us!
Victor's knowledge is exceptional and he is able to easily explain issues/solutions to the consumer.
Although we have not executed the job yet (Landlord issue, I'm the tenant), Victor has been very helpful in creating a strategy for the proper approach.
Great Experienced, knowledgeable and friendly staff. Honest and fair prices. Would recommend to all!
As a local REALTOR in Ocean County, I am often asked by my clients for recommendations regarding local contractors. Victor from Green Works responded to my query immediately even though it was a holiday weekend! The proposal, along with subsequent beneficial information, was Emailed to me promptly. I will be recommending Green Works and Victor to any of my clients in need of this service.
Gary and Victor from Greenworks were extremely thorough in attempting to understand the issues we were having in our attic with airflow and mold. When they determined that the mold remediation was a bigger problem than they originally assumed via our phone discussion, they immediately decided to discuss further options and recommended having a roofer examine the issue as well to make sure we determined the correct root cause of the problem. I received my deposit back right away and Gary followed up with other recommendations of changes to make throughout the home to combat moisture. Although we did not end up using Greenworks services because our roofer was able to solve the problem, I would definitely contact them in the future and would recommend them to others.
Gary patiently answered all of my questions. He and the other workers were professional and courteous.
GreenWorks is an extremely thorough, professional and trust worthy service. They came within a day to inspect and the next day to resolve any issues. The owner Gary and his crew were very precise on what had to be done and why it had to be done and they left my basement immaculate. This is the only mold removal service I would ever use or recommend
The client service, site assessment, and attention to detail these folks put into their business is incredible. They are the only company I would turn to for full environmental assessments, mold testing, and the like. You will not find better.
Victor and the rest of the Greenworks Team were professional, knowledgeable and easy to work with every step of the way with our house issue. Victor listened closely to our problems, performed a very in-depth inspection of our entire house (including the very small crawl space which was the biggest culprit of our issues) and then explained everything to us, from cause to solution, in an easy to understand fashion. We are very pleased with Victor's help and recommend him and his company to everyone.

Later upon GreenWorks inspection, multiple signs of historic flooding were found in the home that were not picked up by prospective buyer or home inspector. The result of our investigation will save the prospective purchaser a lot of grief and investment in a home where no prior flooding was disclosed by sellers. Glad we can help !
