Disappointed

Honestly, I’m unsure as to why i received this link as the work on our order is still not complete. Tony came out before the holidays to provide an estimate. He was thorough and answered all my questions. I had to email for an estimate and to get on the schedule. Once we found a date for install I got a call regarding the chimney cap. I was told someone would be coming on Jan 15th. They ended up coming the week before. This is not a huge issue however I was unable to be at the house during the time they arrived and I had scheduled to be gone during the original time and date set. I prefer to be home when contractors are at my house. Install day was supposed to be yesterday. Corey got the chimney cleaned out, the cap and damper installed but informed me he wouldn’t be able to complete the job because of the piping. This is a conversation I had with Tony when he initially came and was told it wouldn’t be an issue. This was frustrating to me. Following our discussion he got ahold of Tony and sorted out whatever misunderstanding however he did not have the part for the gas line and still wouldn’t be able to complete install. He thought today, Saturday may come available because of the wind and he would call and plan to install then. He indeed called this morning and said he would be to our house for install around 1pm. Around that time he called and said he was still looking for the adapter part and would be a bit later. He suggested I could also contact a plumber to have the gas turned off. We had this conversation 2 times. I spoke with a plumber and planned to turn off the gas. I called Corey and left him a voicemail to let him know we could move forward without the additional pieces and have not heard back from him hours later. I called the main office and left a message, heard back from a gentleman who apologized and told me he would speak with Tony and Corey to find a resolution. It has been an hour and a half and I have not heard an update besides the text with this link asking for my feedback. I have taken time to be off at work, stayed home for a second day all with the assumption that my fireplace would be fully functioning and that is not the case. While the people I have spoken to are kind, actions speaks louder than words and the actions or lack there of tell me everything I need to know. I am incredibly disappointed in this experience and would love someone to reach out and discuss how it will be made right and when my fireplace will be completed.
