Great Service

I was very impressed with the overall service and professionalism of Paul. He was very pleasant and eager to get the job done correctly. I am very pleased with the new hot water heater. I am a renter so I don't know the cost of the heater so I can't rate the price.

Good but way over priced

The response time and service was very good however, the pricing for a snaked drain was over the top. The work took 5 minutes and the charge was almost $500. This normally would be what a company would charge in a large office building, not in a private townhouse.

Great Service

Paul was great. We just closed on a new house and it turns out the inspector missed a few leaks. While in our home, Paul noticed that there was a major issue with how the HVAC condensate line went out to the sewer. He brought the issue to our attention immediately. We also needed three toilets installed (more expensive than Home Depot). Paul was there all day working to fix everything and the results are great so far. He was also a nice guy, friendly, knew what he was talking about.

Decent techs, but overpriced

We had a drain clog within the house's pipes about 10 feet from the toilet. It was fixed with about 30 minutes of work. Bill was $550 - couldn't believe it. They also tried to have us sign up for a $100 plan for a discount - ha! Also tried to sell us $50 of drain cleaner. Though they were prompt and respectful, they seem to be part of this newer type of business that is overpriced and looking for more. Wish I'd gotten more estimates....

Technician arrived, customer explained that water heater was from 2014, technician offered to install a new Bradford white 50 gallon hot water heater or gave customer option of replacing temperature and pressure valve. Customer opted to have the T & P valve replaced for the time being. Tech shut off water to tank put burner on pilot, drained tank below T & P valve removed, t&p valve replaced with similar valve. Once a new valve was installed tank was refilled and tested to ensure proper function as well as no leaks being present. Temperature control for tank was turned down, customer has been made aware and explained why technician needed to turn down, bringing water heater to code.

Cut out old 3/4” union, rotted out 1/2” 90 , 1/2” tee (all copper). Replaced with new 3/4” x1/2” reducer, new piping, and fittings in place of old rotted out fittings. Tying into the old line a shark bite coupling needed to be used, the old piping was collapsing under the pressure of the press tool. Customer had been made aware and tech offered to give an estimate for replacing the old pipe, customer declined at this time.

Replace 2 week old board for rheem unit with new. Water gathering on floor through the wall causing moisture to get into blower motor cabinet. This caused 2 boards to burn out within 2 weeks. Replaced board and test unit is working at this time

Verify that the water heater vent pipe is up to code - 3” exhaust may carry up to 38,000 btus into the chimney Water heater has an input btu of 36,000 then forth is up to New Jersey’s code Since the removal of the furnace exhaust into the chimney the chimney will not ever get hot enough to properly expel the flue gases from the water heater Either a liner is to be installed into the chimney and have township come out to perform an inspection Or Repace water heater with a direct vent exhaust and run out of the house If work is to be competed then 50%/of service call will be credited towards the job to be competed

Tech had customer run washer, kitchen sink and dishwasher, to allow leak to show itself at the top of the wye. Tech discussed pricing and procedure with customers. Once tech was authorized have duct was moved out if the workspace, leaking fitting was removed, and a new pvc fitting was installed.
