Tech arrived and customer explained the water heater was from 2008, he explained that it had been leaking and was requesting a new one. Tech gave him the option and explain the pricing, and upon inspection explained that along with a new water heater he also needed to replace the water service shut off upstream of the meter. Customer authorized work to be performed,. Tech shut down the water to the house, Installed a new water service shut off valve. Cut out old Bradford white 50 gallon 4 foot power vent water heater. A similar Bradford white model was installed in place of the old one, connections were made and water was turned back on. Unit was checked for leaks as well as all fittings in the vicinity of the work areas. No leaks are present at this time, everything is functioning properly.
