American Plumbing Service was called out to Temecula Ca, for a water heater repair. Upon inspection found gas control valve and pilot assembly needed to be replaced. Removed gas control valve from water heater and found to be covered in calcium deposits. Replaced gas control valve and pilot assembly and recommended customer to install whole house water filtration due to calcium build up.
