02/07/23 Technician Mike and observer Ashley responded to a call concerning a leaking water line. Upon arrival Mike and Ashley met Todd who explained that the house has been vacant and water was turned back on one week ago. Multiple leaks were found and repaired by Todd’s handyman since water was reintroduced to the home. Todd’s handyman also installed a shark bite ball valve in the crawl space as the main water shut off. The handyman explained that he thinks there are two more leaks but he cannot locate them. He thinks it’s coming from around the water heater and bathroom area but it is not visible on floor level. Mike then entered the crawl space. It is very muddy, water puddles in some spots and metal rods hanging in certain areas. Mike then slightly opened up the main water shut off valve. Water then started dripping down on the other side of the wall hung sewer. The water was then turned back off. You cannot crawl directly to where the leak/leaks are coming from due to hanging
