Mr Triassi contacted Spartan Plumbing in regards to issue with 80 gallon electric water heater located in basement. Evaluation was performed on homes water pressure and water quality before any further evaluation was preformed. Water pressure high at 80 psi. Water hardness level at 8 grains per gallon of hardness which is high chlorine levels found in water at 2.0 found to be high. Examining 80 gallon electric water heater Power source to unit via breaker panel in basement labeled water heater does not properly shut power off to unit I was unable to test heating elements and noticed reset button on water heater was tripped attempted to locate power supply but was unable to at this time recommend electrical contractor to troubleshoot power source in case of an emergency and before any work can be completed.
