Tech notes: out today to install mgp supplied 50 gallon natural gas water heater. Upon arrival, turned water off and drained down existing heater. Removed heater off stand. Unboxed and prepped new heater for install. Placed new heater on blocks and began install. Installed 2 cpvc to copper transitions. Reworked gas line and installed new gas shut off valve, flex line, and gas drip leg. Installed new copper risers, shut off valve, and expansion tank. Once all connections were good, turned water on to test. Everything is functioning properly at this time. Successfully lit water heater. Job status: complete
