Customer stated: guest bathroom toilet in hall is leaking Technician notes: We arrived and inspected the area. There were no visible leaks around the toilet. We checked the downstairs area and were able to see the area that water was pooling on the ceiling under the hall bathroom. We tested the toilet and were able to hear water drips and after a few test flushes we saw water coming through the area on the ceiling with damage and dripping down. We then cut off the water and pulled the toilet. The wax ring showed signs of losing seal due to age. We removed the old ring and access wax to ensure that the flange was not broken. The flange was still intact. We then set a new wax ring and reset the toilet. After resetting the toilet, we tested and no longer saw water coming through the damaged area of the ceiling. Resolution/Recommendations: Removed and reset toilet with new wax ring. Tested and there are no longer any leaks.
