TECHNICIAN NOTES: Upon inspection I found that the steel braided supply line comes up through the basement flooring of the home, and connects to the refrigerator. This refrigerator will require installing an ice maker supply box, and will also require cutting into the drywall along with drilling a new hole for the new pipe connection to the supply box shut off. I made the tenant aware that we will need to submit the necessary repairs for approval as this work is over the NTE limit. RESOLUTION/RECOMMENDATIONS: The resolution is to have an ice maker supply box installed behind the refrigerator drywall to help fix/prevent any future plumbing issues. I found that there was no signs of any water leaking from the fridge on today’s visit.
