Customer stated: there is a leak coming from the disposal and leaking down to the basement Technician notes: The customer installed a new disposal and did not remove the dishwasher knockout tab. We removed the dishwasher drain line and were able to verify that the tab was still in place. We then removed the knockout tab and reconnected the dishwasher drain line. We tested by running water through the disposal and running the dishwasher. No leaks Resolution/Recommendations: We removed the dishwasher drain line and then removed the dishwasher knockout from the disposal. We then reconnected the dishwasher drain line and tested by running water into the disposal side of the sink and running the dishwasher. The disposal drained and functioned normally with no leaks
