CUSTOMER STATED : Pilot light in water heater will not stay lit. TECHNICIAN NOTES : Out to the residence today for the concern of a 2020 natural gas Rheem water heater not operating properly. Pilot on water heater will not stay lit. Customer has contacted the manufacturer and received a new gas control valve and pilot light assembly kit. Customer was not on site but was able to communicate on a recorded line for the repairs needed. Customer authorized on a recorded line to install customer supplied gas control valve and pilot wiring assembly. RESOLUTION : Installed customer supplied gas control valve and pilot wiring assembly for existing 50 gallon natural gas water heater located in the garage on a platform. Repairs have been pressurized and tested with no further concerns at this point in time. Water heater is currently heating up 50 gallons of hot water.
