CUSTOMER STATED : My water pressure is very low and the water doesn't get hot TECHNICIAN NOTES : Out to the residence today for the tenants concern of there being low water pressure in the home and water doesn’t get as hot as they’d like. Water pressure from back side hose bib tested at 40 PSI. indicating a malfunctioning double union zurn pressure regulating valve. Have tested water while on site and found it to be plenty hot from all fixtures in the home. Kitchen faucet has low water pressure from the “stream” setting but good pressure from “shower” setting. Faucet is not leaking and cannot be replaced at this time. Have advised tenant to use “shower setting” for the time being. RESOLUTION : Replaced defective pressure regulating valve located in garage. New valve has been pressurized and tested showing no further concern at this point in time. Homes water pressure now tests at 55 PSI with new prv. JOB NOTES : Home has several clean outs.
