CUSTOMER STATED : One of the water heaters are not working properly. TECHNICIAN NOTES : When I arrived today I found 2 50 gallon electric water heater in the basement ran in parallel. Both 2.5 gallon expansion tanks are defective. I recommend rebuilding the 2nd water heater with new top and bottom thermostats and both top and bottom heating elements and I also recommend installing a 5 gallon expansion tank to the hot water system. RESOLUTION : Estimate to replace 50 gallon electric water heater has been sold. Need to schedule for upcoming Monday to come back out and replace water heater.
