Customer Stated: The water heater wasn’t working. Tech Notes: Upon inspection I found that this is a rheem 40 gallon natural gas water heater located in the garage of home, and is only 2 years of age which is still under manufacture warranty. I found that the gas meter has been locked which means this tank is not getting any gas to it, and is the cause for the hot heater not being able to function properly. I let the tenant know that he needs to contact ResiPro or the gas company so they can come out, and unlock his gas meter. I can not legally unlock this meter. Resolution: The tenant needs to contact ResiPro or gas company to have his gas meter unlocked.
